DAY 1: Start with a hotel pick-up and a one-hour drive to Bako Village, followed by a 30-minute boat ride to the park headquarters. Bako National Park, the oldest and most famous in Sarawak, covers 2,727 hectares and features seven unique ecosystems, including beach vegetation, mangroves, peat swamp forests, and more. The park is known for its stunning cliffs, sandstone formations, sea stacks, and pristine beaches shaped by constant coastal erosion. Bako is an excellent introduction to Sarawak’s forests and wildlife, with its diverse ecosystems and abundant wildlife. At the park headquarters, you can often spot proboscis monkeys, long-tailed macaques, and silver leaf monkeys, while bearded boars, monitor lizards, and various bird species are also visible. The park offers 17 interconnected hiking trails, ranging from short, easy walks to full-day jungle treks. After arrival, embark on a guided trail exploration and wildlife spotting session. Enjoy lunch at the park canteen, then continue exploring. After dinner, join a night walk, illuminated by torchlight, for a chance to spot nocturnal creatures

DAY 2: After breakfast, set out on a trail hike to spot rare migratory birds, langurs, reptiles, proboscis monkeys and various plant species. Lunch and dinner will be provided at the park.

DAY 3: After breakfast, proceed to another trail to spot carnivorous plants, pitcher plants and various plant species. Lunch will be provided at the park before returning to Kuching by mid-afternoon.
